Anuśāsana-parva 17
दान्तानामपि यो दान्तो धीमतामपि या च थी: । देवानामपि यो देव ऋषीणामपि यस्त्वृषि:
dāntānām api yo dānto dhīmatām api yā ca dhīḥ | devānām api yo deva ṛṣīṇām api yas tv ṛṣiḥ |
Vāyu dijo: «Aquel que es el más dueño de sí aun entre los dueños de sí; aquel que es el intelecto mismo aun entre los sabios; aquel que es Dios aun entre los dioses; y aquel que es el vidente aun entre los videntes—escucha de mí la recitación de los mil ocho nombres de ese Señor Śiva, de fulgor inconmensurable, el Sí mismo interior de todos los seres, de quien nacen los mundos y en quien se disuelven. Oh el mejor de los hombres, con sólo oír esto alcanzarás el cumplimiento de todos tus deseos».
