प्रथमो होष देवानां मुखादग्निमजीजनत् । ग्रहैर्बहुविधै: प्राणान् संरुद्धानुत्सूजत्यपि
prathamo hi sa devānāṁ mukhād agnim ajījanat | grahair bahuvidhaiḥ prāṇān saṁruddhān utsṛjati api ||
Dijo el dios Vāyu: «Él es el primero entre los dioses; de su propia boca hizo nacer el Fuego (Agni). Aun a los seres cuyo aliento vital queda oprimido por múltiples aflicciones planetarias, él los libera y les concede alivio del sufrimiento».
