प्रदाता सर्वलोकानां विश्व चाप्युच्यते महत् । ज्येष्ठभूतं वदन्त्येनं ब्राह्यणा ऋषयो5परे
pradātā sarvalokānāṁ viśva cāpy ucyate mahat | jyeṣṭhabhūtaṁ vadanty enaṁ brāhmaṇā ṛṣayo 'pare ||
Vāyu dijo: «Él es el bienhechor de todos los mundos, concediendo a los seres lo que anhelan. Este vasto universo mismo es declarado su manifestación. Por ello, los brāhmaṇas y otros videntes lo proclaman el más antiguo: el primordial y el primero entre los seres.»
