अध्याय १६ — शङ्कर-उमा-वरदानम् तथा तण्डि-स्तुतिः (Śaṅkara–Umā Boon-Granting and Taṇḍi’s Hymn)
यानि च प्रथितान्यादौ तण्डिराख्यातवान् मम । नामानि मानवश्रेष्ठ तानि त्वं शृणु सिद्धये
yāni ca prathitāny ādau taṇḍir ākhyātavān mama | nāmāni mānavaśreṣṭha tāni tvaṃ śṛṇu siddhaye ||
Vāyu dijo: «Oh el mejor de los hombres, escucha para tu logro esos nombres célebres desde el principio, nombres que el sabio Taṇḍi me recitó antaño. Se dice que oírlos concede realización espiritual.»
