Transliteration

udīrṇaḥ sarvataś-cakṣuḥ anīśaḥ śāśvata-sthiraḥ | bhūśayaḥ bhūṣaṇaḥ bhūtiḥ viśokaḥ śoka-nāśanaḥ ||

Translation

Dijo Bhīṣma: Él es el Exaltado—ve en todas las direcciones, no está sujeto a ningún otro soberano, es eternamente firme e inmutable. Él es quien yació sobre la tierra; quien adorna el mundo; el fundamento de toda prosperidad y poder divino; Él mismo libre de aflicción, y destructor de la aflicción de quienes lo recuerdan.
