Śatarudrīya-prabhāva and Rudra’s Supremacy (शतरुद्रीयप्रभावः)

ओषघध्यो ज्वलमानाश्ष द्योतयन्ति सम तद्‌ वनम्‌ | ऋतुएँ वहाँ उपस्थित हो सब प्रकारके अत्यन्त अद्भुत पुष्प बिखेर रही थीं। ओषधियाँ प्रज्वलित हो उस वनको प्रकाशित कर रही थीं

oṣadhyo jvalamānāś ca dyotayanti samaṃ tad vanam | ṛtavaḥ tatra upasthitāḥ sarva-prakārair aty-adbhuta-puṣpāṇi vikiranti sma ||

Nārada dijo: «Las hierbas medicinales, como si ardieran, iluminaban aquel bosque por todos lados. Las estaciones mismas parecían haber llegado allí en persona, esparciendo flores maravillosas de toda clase». En esta descripción, casi visionaria, la naturaleza aparece armonizada y propicia, como un ámbito donde reina el orden (ṛta/dharma) y el entorno se vuelve signo de mérito espiritual y presencia sagrada.
