Adhyaya 8: Yogasthanas, Ashtanga Yoga, Pranayama-Siddhi, and Shiva-Dhyana leading to Samadhi

समजानुस् तथा धीमान् एकजानुरथापिवा समं दृढासनो भूत्वा संहृत्य चरणावुभौ

samajānus tathā dhīmān ekajānurathāpivā samaṃ dṛḍhāsano bhūtvā saṃhṛtya caraṇāvubhau

Que el practicante sabio se siente con ambas rodillas al mismo nivel, o bien con una rodilla elevada; asentado en un asiento firme y parejo, recoja y componga ambos pies—estableciendo así el dominio del cuerpo como apoyo para la contemplación orientada a Śiva.
