Con su espada de autodominio, asentada en el recto sendero de la instalación del Liṅga, abrió en un instante la cáscara del universo y salió sin la menor duda—firme en el Pati que libera al paśu de las ataduras del pāśa.
Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages at Naimisharanya)
It frames Liṅga-sthāpana as a “san-mārga” (right, sanctified method) that grants unwavering resolve—so potent that it is poetically described as piercing even the cosmic enclosure, implying the rite’s capacity to break spiritual limitation (pāśa).
Shiva-tattva is implied as the doubt-dispelling refuge: when one is fixed in the true discipline connected to the Liṅga, hesitation falls away and the seeker moves beyond bounded existence—toward Pati, the liberator of the paśu from pāśa.
Liṅga-sthāpana (installation of the Linga) is highlighted, along with the yogic quality of svāyata (self-mastery) and nirviśaṅkā (freedom from doubt), aligning with Pāśupata-oriented steadiness in practice.
