Alabado por los más eminentes entre los Siddhas y los Vidyādharas, y también por Yakṣas, Dānavas y Kinnaras, aquel de mérito supremo fue celebrado en medio del resonar de los timbales divinos.
Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It frames the atmosphere of Linga-centered sacred narrative: all classes of beings join in stuti (praise), indicating that devotion to Pati (Shiva) is universally auspicious and supported by cosmic signs like the devadundubhi.
By showing even siddhas and celestial hosts praising, the verse implies Shiva-tattva as the supreme locus of auspiciousness (puṇya) and the natural object of adoration for all pashus across realms, pointing to Pati as universally acknowledged.
Stuti as a limb of devotion: recitation and praise function as a purifying practice that loosens pāśa (bondage) by turning the pashu’s attention toward Pati—an inner discipline aligned with Shaiva/Pāśupata devotional orientation.
