Adhyaya 71: पुरत्रयवृत्तान्तः—ब्रह्मवरदानम्, मयकृतत्रिपुर-निर्माणम्, विष्णुमाया-धर्मविघ्नः, शिवस्तुति, त्रिपुरदाहोपक्रमः

दैत्येश्वरैर्महाभागैः सदारैः ससुतैर्द्विजाः श्रौतस्मार्तार्थधर्मज्ञैस् तद्धर्मनिरतैः सदा

daityeśvarairmahābhāgaiḥ sadāraiḥ sasutairdvijāḥ śrautasmārtārthadharmajñais taddharmanirataiḥ sadā

Oh bráhmanas, los bienaventurados señores entre los daityas—junto con sus esposas e hijos—conocían siempre los deberes enseñados por la Śruti y la Smṛti, y permanecían constantemente entregados a la práctica de esos mismos dharmas.
