Daily Duties of Brāhmaṇas: Snāna, Sandhyā, Sūrya-hṛdaya, Japa, Tarpaṇa, and the Pañca-mahāyajñas

उदुत्यं चित्रमित्येते तच्चक्षुरिति मन्त्रतः / हंसः शुचिषदेतेन सावित्र्या च विशेषतः

udutyaṃ citramityete taccakṣuriti mantrataḥ / haṃsaḥ śuciṣadetena sāvitryā ca viśeṣataḥ

«Ud utyaṃ citram…» y asimismo «Tac cakṣur…»: éstos son los mantras. Por medio de ellos, y muy especialmente por la Sāvitrī (Gāyatrī), debe contemplarse al Haṃsa—el Puro que mora en la región luminosa (el Sí interior, “so’ham”).
