श॒तेन॑ मा॒ परि॑ पाहि स॒हस्रे॑णा॒भि र॑क्ष मा । इन्द्र॑स्ते वीरुधां पत उ॒ग्र ओ॒ज्मान॒मा द॑धत्
śaténa mā́ pári pāhi sahásreṇā́bhí rakṣa mā | índras te vīrudhā́m pata ugrá ójmānam ā́ dadhat
With a hundredfold guard encompass me; with a thousandfold defend me from assault. Indra, the fierce, hath for thee—O lord of plants—set in place the might of strength.
