vṛ́ṣā matīnā́ṃ pavate vicakṣaṇáḥ sū́ro ahnā́ṃ pratarītóṣasāṃ diváḥ | prāṇáḥ síndhūnāṃ kaláśāṃ acikradad índrasya hā́rdim āviśán manīṣáyā
The Bull of thoughts is purified, the clear-sighted; a Sun of days, prevailing through the dawns of heaven. The Breath of rivers hath cried aloud into the jars, entering with wise intent into Indra’s heart.
El Toro de los pensamientos se purifica, el de clara visión; un Sol de los días, que prevalece a través de las auroras del cielo. El Aliento de los ríos clamó en las vasijas (kalaśa), entrando con sabia intención en el corazón de Indra.
Rishi: Soma-hymn style; specific AV 18 attribution varies by anukramaṇī
Devata: Soma (Indu), with Indra as recipient locus
Chandas: Triṣṭubh-like (longer pādas; stylistically RV-Soma register)
