This verse presents varṇa-āśrama conduct as a direct mode of worship, framing social-spiritual duty as an offering that pleases Viṣṇu.
Parāśara emphasizes that disciplined life according to one’s ordained duties is itself the effective ‘path’ (panthā) for propitiating the Supreme Person.
Viṣṇu is identified as the Para Pumān, the supreme reality and personal Lord, whose satisfaction is the ultimate measure and purpose of dharma.
