कृशाश्वस्य तु देवर्षेर् देवप्रहरणाः सुताः
kṛśāśvasya tu devarṣer devapraharaṇāḥ sutāḥ
From the divine seer Kṛśāśva were born sons who became the very “divine weapons”—celestial instruments of the gods’ sovereignty and protection.

They symbolize the gods’ sanctioned power to uphold dharma—cosmic order expressed through personified or lineage-based origins of sacred armaments.
He presents lineages as functional links in creation: sages generate forces, beings, or powers that sustain the universe’s governance and protection.
Even when a verse names sages and divine weapons, the Purāṇic framework treats such powers as operating within Vishnu’s supreme sovereignty—tools through which dharma is preserved.
