यक्ष उवाच । वरं प्रयच्छसि यदि विप्रवर्य मदीप्सितम् । ममांगमतिदुर्गंधि शापाच्च नृपतेरभूत् । सुगन्धयितुं ब्रह्मर्षे तत्प्रसीद मुनीश्वर
yakṣa uvāca | varaṃ prayacchasi yadi vipravarya madīpsitam | mamāṃgamatidurgaṃdhi śāpācca nṛpaterabhūt | sugandhayituṃ brahmarṣe tatprasīda munīśvara
The Yakṣa said: “If you will grant a boon, O best of brāhmaṇas, grant what I desire. My body has become exceedingly foul-smelling due to a king’s curse. O brahmarṣi, be gracious, O lord of sages—make me fragrant.”
