भुक्त्वा भोगान्समग्रांश्च विष्णुलोके स मोदते । लक्ष्मीकामनया तत्र स्नातव्यं च विशेषतः
bhuktvā bhogānsamagrāṃśca viṣṇuloke sa modate | lakṣmīkāmanayā tatra snātavyaṃ ca viśeṣataḥ
Having enjoyed complete pleasures, one rejoices in Viṣṇu’s world. And for the sake of seeking Lakṣmī—prosperity and grace—bathing there is especially to be undertaken.
Brahmā (deduced: Vaiṣṇavakhaṇḍa dialogic style)
Tirtha: Ayodhyā (Sarayū-snāna within Ayodhyā-kṣetra)
Type: ghat
Scene: Pilgrims at Sarayū ghāṭa in Ayodhyā at dawn, making sankalpa for Lakṣmī, entering the river for snāna; in the sky a subtle vision of Viṣṇu-loka as a promise of fruit.
The tīrtha is framed as granting both worldly well-being (Lakṣmī) and transcendent destiny (Viṣṇu-loka) when approached with devotion.
The bathing-place at Rukmiṇī-kuṇḍa in Ayodhyā.
Perform snāna there, especially with the intention of Lakṣmī-kāmanā (seeking prosperity/grace).
