भाद्रे शुक्ले तु पंचम्यां यात्रा तत्र फलप्रदा । अन्यदापि गुरोर्वारे स्नानं बहुफलप्रदम्
bhādre śukle tu paṃcamyāṃ yātrā tatra phalapradā | anyadāpi gurorvāre snānaṃ bahuphalapradam
In the bright fortnight of Bhādrapada, on the fifth lunar day, pilgrimage there bestows its sacred fruit. And on other occasions too, bathing on Guru’s day (Thursday) grants abundant merit.
Brahmā (deduced for Vaiṣṇavakhaṇḍa context)
Tirtha: Bṛhaspati-kunda / Devaguru-tīrtha (contextual)
Type: kund
Scene: A festive pilgrimage scene on Bhādrapada śukla pañcamī: pilgrims with flags and offerings approach the kund; on a Thursday vignette, devotees bathe at dawn while priests announce ‘Guru-vāra’ observance.
Sacred time (tithi and weekday) amplifies sacred place; aligning both intensifies merit.
The verse continues the praise of the Ayodhyā tīrtha identified as Bṛhaspati-kuṇḍa.
Yātrā on Bhādrapada Śukla Pañcamī, and snāna on Guru-vāra (Thursday).
