तेन दत्तं भवेत्सर्वं गुरवस्तेन तोषिताः । श्राद्धं कृतं गयातीर्थे तेन तप्तं महत्तपः । येन देवाधिदेवोऽसौपूजितो वृषभेश्वरः
tena dattaṃ bhavetsarvaṃ guravastena toṣitāḥ | śrāddhaṃ kṛtaṃ gayātīrthe tena taptaṃ mahattapaḥ | yena devādhidevo'saupūjito vṛṣabheśvaraḥ
By that person (who worships here), it is as though all gifts have been given; by him the gurus are satisfied; by him the śrāddha at the Gayā-tīrtha has been performed; by him great austerity has been undertaken—because he has worshipped Vṛṣabheśvara, the God of gods.
Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Vṛṣabheśvara (Prabhāsa)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī
Scene: A devotee worships Vṛṣabheśvara; around him appear symbolic vignettes: giving gifts, gurus blessing, ancestors receiving piṇḍa at Gayā, and an ascetic in tapas—shown as all fulfilled through this single worship.
Śiva-worship at this Prabhāsa shrine is praised as spiritually equivalent to major dharmic pillars—charity, guru-service, śrāddha, and austerity.
Prabhāsakṣetra’s Vṛṣabheśvara, whose worship is compared to performing śrāddha at Gayā.
Pūjā of Vṛṣabheśvara; the verse frames it as encompassing the fruits of dāna, guru-tarpaṇa/satisfaction, śrāddha, and tapas.
