Transliteration

aṣṭāviṃśatime tatra tretāyugamukhe tadā | ikṣvākurnāma rājā'bhūtsūryavaṃśavibhūṣaṇaḥ

Translation

There, in the twenty-eighth turn, at the dawn of the Tretā Yuga, there arose a king named Ikṣvāku—an ornament of the Solar dynasty.
