Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 37

एकैकेनोप वासेन उपवासायुतं फलम् । लभते नात्र सन्देहो दैत्यसूदनसन्निधौ

ekaikenopa vāsena upavāsāyutaṃ phalam | labhate nātra sandeho daityasūdanasannidhau

By each single fast, one gains the fruit of ten thousand fasts—of this there is no doubt—in the very presence of Daityasūdana.
