By the power of that act, they were born on earth with remembrance of former lives; and they attained supreme renown under the names Lopāmudrā and Agastya.
Īśvara (Śiva) (contextual)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī
Scene: A visionary transformation: the parrot-couple’s merit blossoms into two luminous human births—Agastya, the compact radiant sage, and Lopāmudrā, learned and serene—both bearing a subtle aura of remembrance, as if a faint temple silhouette of Prabhāsa hovers behind them.
Sacred actions performed at a holy site can mature into extraordinary spiritual results, shaping future births and renown.
Prabhāsakṣetra, as the place whose associated merit is implied as the cause of their exalted rebirth.
The rite is implicit from the prior context (pradakṣiṇā and worship); this verse highlights the resulting fruit (phala).
