वाञ्छितां लभते सिद्धिं विघ्नराजप्रसादतः । क्षेत्रस्यास्य महादेवि रक्षार्थं तु मया पुरा
vāñchitāṃ labhate siddhiṃ vighnarājaprasādataḥ | kṣetrasyāsya mahādevi rakṣārthaṃ tu mayā purā
By the grace of Vighnarāja one attains the fulfillment one desires. And, O great Goddess, long ago I appointed him for the protection of this sacred kṣetra.
Śiva (Īśvara)
Tirtha: Vighnarāja as Prabhāsa-kṣetra-pāla
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī (Mahādevī)
Scene: Skanda narratively indicates a past divine appointment: Vighnarāja stands as sentinel at the threshold of Prabhāsa, holding pāśa and aṅkuśa, blessing pilgrims; behind him, the sacred precinct and pathways of yātrā unfold.
Divine grace removes obstacles and grants success; holy places are safeguarded by appointed divine guardians.
Prabhāsa Kṣetra, protected by Vighnarāja according to this māhātmya.
The emphasis is on obtaining siddhi through Vighnarāja’s prasāda (grace), implying worship and seeking his favor.
