युगेयुगे तु तीर्थानि कीर्तितानि सुरेश्वरि । तेषां मे वल्लभं देवि प्रभासं क्षेत्रमेव च
yugeyuge tu tīrthāni kīrtitāni sureśvari | teṣāṃ me vallabhaṃ devi prabhāsaṃ kṣetrameva ca
In every age, O Lady of the gods, the tīrthas are praised; yet among them, O Devī, the kṣetra most beloved to me is this very Prabhāsa.
Śiva
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī (Pārvatī)
Scene: A celebratory proclamation: Skanda (or the speaking deity) indicates a radiant map-like vision of many tīrthas across ages, yet Prabhāsa shines brightest at the center with Somnātha temple and coastal glow; Devī receives the declaration with reverence.
Among many celebrated tīrthas, Prabhāsa is singled out as exceptionally dear and spiritually potent.
Prabhāsa kṣetra (Prabhāsa tīrtha) is explicitly glorified.
None directly; the verse functions as praise (kīrtana) of Prabhāsa’s supremacy among tīrthas.
