एवमुक्त्वाऽथ भगवाञ्जगामादर्शनं ततः । सिद्धाश्चैव तदाऽगत्य पूजयंति महेश्वरम्
evamuktvā'tha bhagavāñjagāmādarśanaṃ tataḥ | siddhāścaiva tadā'gatya pūjayaṃti maheśvaram
Having spoken thus, the Blessed Lord then vanished from sight. Thereupon the Siddhas came again and worshipped Maheśvara.
Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Siddheśvara/Maheśvara at Prabhāsa
Type: kshetra
Listener: Internal audience of the frame-story (not explicit in this verse)
Scene: Śiva, after speaking, dissolves into light and vanishes; immediately, luminous siddhas descend/arrive and perform worship at the Maheśvara shrine—smoke of incense, ringing bells, celestial calm.
Even when the Lord is unseen, the proper response is continued worship—devotion persists beyond visions.
The Siddheśvara/Maheśvara worship-site in Prabhāsa Kṣetra where Siddhas maintain reverence.
Ongoing pūjā of Maheśvara is exemplified by the Siddhas after Śiva’s disappearance.
