तत्तपः सफलं त्वद्य जातं मे भक्तवत्सल । प्रभासक्षेत्रमाहात्म्यमद्य मे प्रकटीकृतम्
tattapaḥ saphalaṃ tvadya jātaṃ me bhaktavatsala | prabhāsakṣetramāhātmyamadya me prakaṭīkṛtam
That austerity has become fruitful today, O lover of devotees. Today the greatness of Prabhāsa-kṣetra has been made manifest to me.
Devī (Pārvatī)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Scene: The deity, compassionate to devotees, reveals a radiant vision of Prabhāsa’s greatness—light spreading over the kṣetra, temple and coastline glowing; the devotee kneels in gratitude as the fruit of tapas ripens.
The fruit of tapas is not only boons but revelation—knowing and experiencing the māhātmya of a sacred place is itself a divine gift.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra is explicitly glorified as its māhātmya is ‘revealed’ to the Goddess.
No explicit prescription; it states the principle that devotion and austerity lead to revelation of tīrtha-greatness.
