तूर्यवादित्रघोषैश्च सर्वं कोलाहलीकृतम् । ततः कृतांजलिपुटा भक्तिनम्रात्ममूर्त्तयः
tūryavāditraghoṣaiśca sarvaṃ kolāhalīkṛtam | tataḥ kṛtāṃjalipuṭā bhaktinamrātmamūrttayaḥ
With the blare of trumpets and instruments, all was made to resound in festive tumult. Then, with hands folded in reverent añjali, their very forms bowed low in devotion.
Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) narrating to the sages (deduced)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Scene: After a roaring crescendo of trumpets and instruments, the crowd becomes still: devotees stand with folded hands, bodies slightly bent, faces softened by devotion, the deity’s presence drawing all motion inward.
Outer celebration is perfected by inner humility—añjali and bowed devotion sanctify all worship.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra, where divine beings themselves model reverent conduct.
The devotional posture of añjali (joined palms) is highlighted as an appropriate act of reverence.
