Prahlāda said: Then, O best of brāhmaṇas, one should go to the Gomātī River, sheltered by Kṛṣṇa. By merely beholding it, one is freed from all grievous sins; released from every fault, one attains sāyujya—union with Kṛṣṇa.
Prahlāda
Tirtha: Gomātī (Dvārakā)
Type: sangam
Listener: Ṛṣis / dvija-śreṣṭhas
Scene: Prahlāda instructs brāhmaṇa-sages to proceed to the Gomātī under Kṛṣṇa’s protection; the river gleams near Dvārakā with pilgrims approaching for darśana.
Holy rivers and tīrthas under the Lord’s sanctity purify even grave sins and lead the devotee toward union with Kṛṣṇa.
The Gomātī tīrtha (river) associated with Dvārakā, described as under Kṛṣṇa’s refuge.
Go to Gomātī and take its darśana (and by implication, tīrtha-sevā such as snāna and worship customary to such sites).
