नद्यो नदा यथा यांति सागरे संस्थितिं क्रमात् । एवं जागरणात्सर्वे तत्पदे यांति संस्थितिम्
nadyo nadā yathā yāṃti sāgare saṃsthitiṃ kramāt | evaṃ jāgaraṇātsarve tatpade yāṃti saṃsthitim
Just as rivers and streams, in due course, reach their resting place in the ocean, so too, through the sacred vigil, all attain their established abode in that Supreme State.
Narrator addressing a king (speaker not explicit in snippet; within Dvārakā Māhātmya discourse)
Tirtha: Harijāgaraṇa
Type: kshetra
Scene: Many rivers flow from mountains through plains into a vast ocean; parallel band shows diverse devotees keeping night vigil, then merging into a single radiant ‘supreme state’ symbolized as an ocean of light.
Vigil in devotion is presented as a natural, reliable movement toward the supreme goal, like waters returning to the ocean.
Dvārakā, within whose Māhātmya this practice is praised.
Jāgaraṇa (devotional vigil), described as leading all toward ‘that abode’ (tatpada).
