dṛṣṭvā samastatīrthāni prabhāsādīni bhūtale | matpurīdarśanenaiva pṛṣṭvā'pīha bhavetphalam
Even after seeing all the tīrthas on earth—Prabhāsa and the rest—the fruit here is attained through the darśana of My city alone, even if one merely inquires about it.
Śiva
Tirtha: Dvārakā (in relation to Prabhāsa and all tīrthas)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Brāhmaṇa (dvija)
Scene: A sweeping vision of many tīrthas—rivers, ghāṭas, temples—culminating in Dvārakā’s coastal skyline; a pilgrim or sage asks about Dvārakā and receives the promised fruit through inquiry and darśana.
Among many pilgrimages, a uniquely graced sacred center can bestow results through mere contact—seeing, and even sincere inquiry.
Dvārakā is exalted, while Prabhāsa is cited as a renowned benchmark tīrtha.
Darśana of Dvārakā; additionally, even pṛcchā (inquiring/asking about the holy place) is praised as fruitful.
