dvādaśyāṃ caitramāse tu kṛṣṇena saha rukmiṇīm | ye paśyaṃti narā devīṃ rukmiṇīṃ madhumādhave | kṛṣṇena saha gacchantīṃ dhanyāste mānavā bhuvi
But on the twelfth lunar day in the month of Caitra, those who behold the Goddess Rukmiṇī together with Kṛṣṇa—Rukmiṇī, beloved of Madhu’s slayer—going forth with Kṛṣṇa, are truly blessed upon the earth.
Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) narrating (contextual attribution within Prabhāsa-khaṇḍa)
Tirtha: Dvārakā (Rukmiṇī-Kṛṣṇa darśana)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Caitra dvādaśī procession in Dvārakā: Kṛṣṇa and Rukmiṇī adorned with spring flowers, moving in a palanquin or chariot; crowds line the streets with folded hands; banners, conches, and drums accompany the divine couple.
Darśana of the divine couple (Rukmiṇī–Kṛṣṇa) in a sacred context is itself a great blessing and a purifier of life.
