शिवरात्र्यां विशेषेण सिद्धेशः संप्रपूजितः । यंयं कामयते कामं तं ददाति न संशयः । चिन्तामणिसमः स्वामी ह्यथवा चाक्षयो निधिः
śivarātryāṃ viśeṣeṇa siddheśaḥ saṃprapūjitaḥ | yaṃyaṃ kāmayate kāmaṃ taṃ dadāti na saṃśayaḥ | cintāmaṇisamaḥ svāmī hyathavā cākṣayo nidhiḥ
Especially on Śivarātri, when Siddheśa is duly worshipped, whatever desire a devotee longs for—he grants it without doubt. That Lord is like a wish-fulfilling jewel (cintāmaṇi), indeed like an inexhaustible treasure.
Narrative voice (contextual Purāṇic narrator; specific speaker not explicit in this verse)
Tirtha: Siddheśa/Siddheśvara (Śivarātri worship)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Night of Śivarātri: devotees circle a liṅga with lamps; continuous abhiṣeka streams; the deity’s aura depicted as jewel-like radiance, symbolizing cintāmaṇi and akṣaya treasure.
Wholehearted worship of Śiva on Śivarātri is portrayed as supremely efficacious, yielding desired boons through the Lord’s grace.
The verse praises Siddheśa in the Dvārakā Māhātmya setting (Dvārakā sacred landscape within Prabhāsa Khaṇḍa).
Perform special Śivarātri worship (pūjā) of Siddheśa with due reverence.
