All the gods will become exceedingly pleased—of this there is no doubt. And by the very sight of Mahādeva-saras one is freed from sin.
Narrator (contextual, within Dvārakā Māhātmya dialogue)
Tirtha: Mahādeva-saras
Type: kund
Scene: Pilgrims stand at the luminous Mahādeva-saras; devas above shower subtle flowers as the lake’s sight alone is said to cleanse sin.
Holy places are presented as living channels of grace: even darśana of a divinely founded tīrtha is said to purify and please the gods.
Mahādeva-saras, the sacred lake established by Śiva.
Darśana (reverent viewing/visiting) of Mahādeva-saras; the verse emphasizes purification even without detailing further rites.
