Transliteration

saṃkruddhau brāhmaṇau dṛṣṭvā śapantau tau parasparam | rājñe nivedayāmāsa dvāsthaṃ praṇayapūrvakam

Translation

Seeing the two enraged brāhmaṇas cursing one another, the gatekeeper courteously reported the matter to the king.
