ययातिरुवाच । मामुह्रदमिति विभो कथं नामाऽभवत्पुरा । मुद्गलस्याश्रमं ब्रूहि मम सर्वं विधानतः
yayātiruvāca | māmuhradamiti vibho kathaṃ nāmā'bhavatpurā | mudgalasyāśramaṃ brūhi mama sarvaṃ vidhānataḥ
Yayāti said: “O Lord, how did this place formerly come to be known by the name ‘Māmuhrada’? Describe to me, in due order and in full detail, the hermitage of the great sage Mudgala.”
