श्रीमहादेव उवाच । सम्यग्ज्ञातोऽस्मि विप्रेन्द्र त्वयाऽहं नात्र संशयः । वरं वरय भद्रं ते नृत्याधिक्यं यतः कृतम्
śrīmahādeva uvāca | samyagjñāto'smi viprendra tvayā'haṃ nātra saṃśayaḥ | varaṃ varaya bhadraṃ te nṛtyādhikyaṃ yataḥ kṛtam
Śrī Mahādeva said: “You have rightly recognized me, O foremost of brāhmaṇas—there is no doubt. Choose a boon; blessings upon you, since such exuberant dancing has been performed.”
Śrī Mahādeva (Śiva)
When devotion matures into recognition and surrender, the Lord responds with grace, offering boons that align the devotee with dharma.
The Arbuda sacred region is honored through the depiction of Mahādeva’s direct boon-bestowal within its narrative frame.
No explicit rite is commanded; the verse introduces the boon-giving moment that will shape subsequent merit and sacred practice.
