अनेकागमसंवीता यथातत्त्वमुदाहृताः । कापालिकानां भेदाश्च प्रोक्ता व्याससमासतः
anekāgamasaṃvītā yathātattvamudāhṛtāḥ | kāpālikānāṃ bhedāśca proktā vyāsasamāsataḥ
These teachings—grounded in many Āgamas—have been stated in accordance with reality. The divisions among the Kāpālikas, too, have been described, in both expanded and concise form.
Lomaśa (continuing narration)
Tirtha: Kedāra (contextual)
Type: kshetra
Listener: dvija-ṛṣis
Scene: A didactic tableau: Lomaśa enumerates āgama-based teachings and distinguishes Kāpālika divisions, with palm-leaf manuscripts and attentive sages in an āśrama near the Himalayan shrine route.
Śaiva dharma is presented as Āgama-supported and internally diverse, yet meant to be understood truthfully and carefully.
Kedāra remains the narrative setting; the verse emphasizes doctrinal mapping rather than a single local shrine.
No specific rite; it notes the Āgamic grounding and classification of Śaiva groups (including Kāpālikas).
