खिन्नाः प्रकृतयः सर्वास्तादृग्रूपविलोकनात् । तत्किमित्येतदाश्चर्यमूचुः पौराः सुविस्मिताः
khinnāḥ prakṛtayaḥ sarvāstādṛgrūpavilokanāt | tatkimityetadāścaryamūcuḥ paurāḥ suvismitāḥ
All the subjects were dismayed on seeing such a form. Greatly astonished, the townspeople said, “What is this wonder—and why has it happened?”
