मार्ज्जारकुक्कुटश्वानपक्षिपोष्टा प्रयाति च । बधिरांधगृहक्षेत्रतृणधान्यादिज्वालकः
mārjjārakukkuṭaśvānapakṣipoṣṭā prayāti ca | badhirāṃdhagṛhakṣetratṛṇadhānyādijvālakaḥ
One who keeps and fattens cats, cocks, dogs, and birds goes to that very fate. And one who sets fire to the homes or fields of the deaf and the blind—burning grass, grain, and the like—meets dire consequences.
