Using wealth produced from her allotted portion, she cultivated merit by bestowing gifts. Then, at some later time, she gave to her eight brothers as well.
Lomaharṣaṇa (Sūta), deduced from Māheśvarakhaṇḍa narrative frame
Scene: Kumārī (or a noble lady/devī figure) distributes goods—grain, gold, cloth—measured from her own share, with recipients including brothers; the act is calm, orderly, and sanctified.
Wealth becomes sanctified when used for dāna; rightful resources, when shared, are transformed into dharmic merit.
The context continues the Stambhatīrtha-Kumārī sanctity narrative, though the site is not repeated by name in this verse.
Dāna (charitable giving) is explicitly mentioned as her meritorious practice.
