स्नात्वार्णवमहीतोये तस्य स्यान्मनसेप्सितम् । कार्तिके च चतुर्द्देश्यां कृष्णायां श्रद्धयान्वितः
snātvārṇavamahītoye tasya syānmanasepsitam | kārtike ca caturddeśyāṃ kṛṣṇāyāṃ śraddhayānvitaḥ
After bathing in the ocean’s waters and in the earth’s sacred waters, the heart’s desired aim is fulfilled—especially in the month of Kārttika, on the fourteenth day of the dark fortnight, when one acts endowed with faith.
