vṛścāpyakṣayastasya tuṣṭo rudro varaṃ dadau | prayāga vaṭatulyo'yametatsatyaṃ na saṃśayaḥ
Even his (ancestral) offering becomes inexhaustible; pleased, Rudra granted this boon: “This place is equal to the Akṣayavaṭa of Prayāga—this is true, without doubt.”
