paurāṇaiḥ sāmasaṃgītairvedikairguhyanāmabhiḥ | namastubhyaṃ mahādeva mahādevyai namonamaḥ
With Purāṇic hymns, with Sāman-chant melodies, with Vedic praises, and with the secret mystic names, we bow to You, O Mahādeva; again and again we bow to the Great Goddess, Mahādevī.
Devāḥ (the gods), offering stuti
Scene: Brahmā leads a chorus of seers/devas singing Sāman melodies; Śiva and Devī are saluted together, with sacred syllables and secret names visualized as flowing script-like radiance.
True reverence unites Vedic authority, Purāṇic devotion, and inner (guhya) contemplation in worship of Śiva and Devī.
No single tīrtha is named in this verse; the focus is on universal praise of Umā–Maheśvara within the Kaumārikākhaṇḍa narrative.
Implied modes of worship: Vedic chanting (Sāman), Purāṇic recitation, and mantra-like invocation of secret divine names.
