अविमुक्तेश्वरं दृष्ट्वा ततो विश्वेशमर्चयेत् । एषा यात्रा प्रयत्नेन कर्तव्या क्षेत्रवासिना
avimukteśvaraṃ dṛṣṭvā tato viśveśamarcayet | eṣā yātrā prayatnena kartavyā kṣetravāsinā
Having beheld Avimukteśvara, then one should worship Viśveśa. This pilgrimage must be performed with earnest effort by one who dwells in the sacred field (Kāśī).
Skanda (deduced: Kāśīkhaṇḍa commonly as Skanda teaching Agastya)
Tirtha: Avimukteśvara–Viśveśa yātrā (Kāśī)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A Kāśī-vāsī pilgrim, with folded hands and offerings, first stands before Avimukteśvara-liṅga, then proceeds through narrow lanes to Viśveśa for arcana; lamps, bilva leaves, and Gaṅgā’s presence implied.
Living in Kāśī carries a dharmic responsibility: consistent darśana and worship of the city’s central Śiva forms.
Avimukteśvara and Viśveśa/Viśvanātha—key Śiva centers within Avimukta Kāśī.
Darśana of Avimukteśvara followed by arcana of Viśveśa; the yātrā is obligatory for kṣetra-residents.
