ब्रह्मोवाच । यदि प्रसन्नो देवेश वरं दास्यसि वांछितम् । तदा त्वं मे भव सुतो देवी दक्षसुताऽस्तु च
brahmovāca | yadi prasanno deveśa varaṃ dāsyasi vāṃchitam | tadā tvaṃ me bhava suto devī dakṣasutā'stu ca
Brahmā said: If you are pleased, O Lord of the gods, and will grant the boon I desire, then become my son—and let the Goddess be the daughter of Dakṣa as well.
