त्रिलोचनं पूजयित्वा प्रातः स्नात्वापि तत्र वै । पुनर्लिंगं समभ्यर्च्य दत्त्वा धर्मघटानपि
trilocanaṃ pūjayitvā prātaḥ snātvāpi tatra vai | punarliṃgaṃ samabhyarcya dattvā dharmaghaṭānapi
Having worshipped Trilocana and bathed there again at dawn, one should once more duly adore the Liṅga and also bestow dharma-ghaṭas—pots given in charity.
Śiva
Tirtha: Trilocana-liṅga (with Pailipila-hrada)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Pārvatī
Scene: At sunrise, devotees bathe again, then offer flowers and bilva to the Trilocana-liṅga; afterward they present decorated water pots (dharma-ghaṭas) in charity near the temple steps.
Pilgrimage-dharma is completed by worship plus charity: repeated pūjā and dāna seal the merit of tīrtha-observance.
The worship setting is the Trilocana Liṅga area in Kāśī, with bathing at the associated tīrtha mentioned just prior.
Worship Trilocana, bathe again in the morning, worship the Liṅga again, and perform dharma-ghaṭa dāna (charitable pot-offering).
