śaṃbhuloke gamastasya yatratatra mṛtasya hi | avimukte prayatnena tatsaṃsevyaṃ mumukṣubhiḥ
For one who dies—wherever that death may occur—his course is to Śambhu’s world. Therefore, those who seek liberation should, with earnest effort, resort to and serve Avimukta.
Skanda (deduced: Kāśī Khaṇḍa context, typically Skanda to Agastya)
Tirtha: Avimukta
Type: kshetra
Scene: A mumukṣu pilgrim serves in Avimukta—sweeping the shrine, offering water to the liṅga—while a subtle vision shows Śambhu’s luminous realm as the destined path beyond death.
Liberation-seekers should prioritize Avimukta because it is intimately linked with Śiva’s saving grace and the highest post-death goal.
Avimukta in Kāśī, the sanctified sphere where Śiva’s presence is held to be constant.
Saṃsevanā—regular resorting to the kṣetra through pilgrimage, worship, and disciplined devotion.
