ध्रुवदैनंदिनं पापं क्षालितं नात्र संशयः । न तस्य देहिनो देहे जातु चित्किल्बिषस्थितिः
dhruvadainaṃdinaṃ pāpaṃ kṣālitaṃ nātra saṃśayaḥ | na tasya dehino dehe jātu citkilbiṣasthitiḥ
The constant, day-to-day sin is washed away—there is no doubt of it. In the body of such a person, no stain of wrongdoing ever remains.
Skanda
Tirtha: Kāśī (implied)
Type: kshetra
Listener: null
Scene: A symbolic ‘washing’ scene: translucent streams of light flow over the devotee as he chants; dark specks (pāpa) dissolve and fall away, leaving a clear aura; in the distance, Gaṅgā waters mirror the inner cleansing.
Consistent sacred practice cleanses even habitual, everyday moral impurities.
The context remains the Kāśī-stotra tradition within Kāśī Khaṇḍa, though no single tirtha is named in this verse.
Implied continuation of daily chanting; the focus is on its cleansing result (kṣālana).
