yatra tuṣyati bhartrā strī striyā bhartā ca tuṣyati | tatra veśmani kalyāṇaṃ saṃpadyeta pade pade
In the home where the wife is content with her husband and the husband is content with his wife, welfare and auspiciousness arise at every step.
Skanda (deduced: Kāśīkhaṇḍa commonly Skanda → Agastya)
Tirtha: Kāśī-kṣetra (gṛha as dharma-sthāna)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A calm Kāśī home interior: husband and wife seated together near a small lamp-lit altar, exchanging a peaceful glance; orderly household items, flowers, and a sense of steady well-being.
Mutual satisfaction and respect within marriage is itself dharma, generating continuous auspiciousness in the household.
The verse is part of Kāśīkhaṇḍa’s dharma-teaching within Kāśī’s sanctifying narrative frame.
No specific rite is prescribed; the ‘practice’ is household dharma—cultivating mutual contentment and concord.
