Then, remembering the blameless Lord—the husband of Umā—O Lord of gods, the devas, together with the Gandharvas and the Yakṣas, their minds troubled with fear, went again to the peak of Kailāsa, into Śiva’s presence.
Narrator
Tirtha: Kailāsa
Type: peak
Listener: Devēśa / Rājan (as addressed in the narrative)
Scene: A celestial procession—devas, Gandharvas, and Yakṣas—moving anxiously toward the luminous peak of Kailāsa; Śiva’s presence implied by radiance and sacred stillness at the summit.
When cosmic balance is threatened, even the gods seek refuge in Śiva; surrender to the supreme protector is portrayed as the dharmic response.
Kailāsa is highlighted as the sacred divine abode where seekers approach Śiva for protection and resolution.
No explicit rite; the act emphasized is smaraṇa (remembrance) and śaraṇāgati (seeking refuge) in Śiva.
